Madison Makes Decision On School For Friday

MADISON, CT — Madison Public Schools have announced that there will be no school on Friday, March 9. “After consultation with the town's emergency operations personnel, we have decided to close all school operations for Friday March 9, including the student school day for Island Avenue School, and the planned professional development for all staff,” the school district said in the announcement.

“All Madison Public Schools will be closed for all business activity in order to keep as many cars and buses off town roads so that emergency personnel and repair crews can respond to calls and restore power to residents.”
