During this time period Madison police were called on September 6th to a report of neighbor trouble on Cottage Road, to a suspicious person call on Lakewood/County; on September 8th to a report of broken windows on Horse Pond/Green Hill, to a report of threatening on West Wharf Road; on September 9th to a report of theft on Ridgewood Avenue; on September 10th to a report of a theft of a bicycle on Copse Road; on September 12th to a report of a suspicious person on Horse Pond Road; to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Old Toll/Durham roads.

Arrested were:

Lois E. Ashman, 70, of 25 Apple Way, Madison, charged September 6th with negligent homicide-motor vehicle.

Placido Perez, 35, of 88 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, charged September 7th with operating with registration/license suspended/revoked, traveling unreasonably fast.

James Allen Joyce, 53, of 26 Hull Street, Bristol, charged September 12th with operating while under the influence.
