Madison Police Conducting Annual Food and Toy Drive
Police officers will be out in the community later this month collecting food and toys to families in need in Madison.

The Madison Police Department will once again be conducting its Annual Food & Toy Drive beginning with on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
On Saturday, Madison Police officers will again collect food and toys at two locations in Madison: Stop & Shop and Robert’s Food Center. Officers will be at these locations from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
The collected toys will first be distributed to Madison families in need between December 15th and December 17th.

The remaining toys being transported to the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital to benefit the Toy Closet Program on December 18th.
The Toy Closet Program was established by WTNH News Anchor Ann Nyberg to benefit children receiving care at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.

The Toy Closet provides the patient and/or their siblings with joy and comfort during their recovery at the hospital.
As we approach the Christmas Holiday, Madison Police Officers and Staff will be delivering frozen turkeys to the Madison Surf Club for inclusion into the Madison Food Bank’s holiday food baskets distributed to Madison residents in need.
The remaining food and frozen turkeys will be donated to other area food banks and soup kitchens.
