Madison Police Hiring 911 Dispatchers

MADISON, CT —The town is hiring 911 dispatchers.

It's accepting applications for the position of a "Civilian Tele-Communicator Dispatcher" with recruitment open until Sept. 1.

Described as, "Highly responsible work," the job entails "receiving all verbal communications from the public and public safety personnel and transmitting these requests for service using a diverse communications system to the appropriate agencies for emergency response."
