The two used police cars are being auctioned online

MADISON, CT — The Madison Police Department is auctioning off two, 11-year-old vehicles on the public, municipal auction site, Municibid.com.
Both vehicles are no longer being used by the department, and are being sold in "as is" condition. Proceeds from the auctions will go back to the department to fund other safety initiatives.
One of the vehicles, a 2013 front-wheel drive Chevrolet Caprice, was formerly used for the department's K9 program, and it has more than 105,000 miles on it. The vehicle has one bid so far, for $3,000.
