Madison Reportedly Grappling With Rising Health Care Costs

The town is considering shifting some of the burden of premiums onto employees.

MADISON, CT — With town employee health care costs continuing to rise, Madison is looking to make changes to the health insurance plan it offers workers, report the Madison Source.

Primarily, the town hopes to increase the percentage that employees contribute to health care premiums, according to officials.

If approved, the cost of co-pays and prescriptions would rise, but employees could also see incentives for preventative health measures.
