Madison Resident Appointed to CT's Board of Pardons and Paroles

Gov. Malloy made the announcement late Friday afternoon.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced the appointment of four Connecticut residents including a Madison man to fill vacancies on the Board of Pardons and Paroles.

“These nominees come from a number of backgrounds – including law enforcement, victim advocacy, and social work – representing a broad range of skills that will be a benefit to the board in its work to protect the public and their safety,” Governor Malloy said. “They will serve our state with distinction, fairness, integrity, and respect for the people of Connecticut.”

Jeff L. Hoffman of Madison [Full-Time]: Hoffman currently works as a contract court security officer at the U.S. District Court in New Haven for the U.S. Marshal service, employed by Inter-Con Security, a government contractor.

Immediately prior to that, he worked as a senior protective services patrol officer for Yale-New Haven Hospital. In addition, he served for nearly twenty years in the New Haven Police Department, most recently as Patrol Commander of the largest municipal patrol division in Connecticut.

He received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut and completed basic training with the New Haven Police Academy.
