If approved, the library would more than double in size, from its current 17,000 square feet to 37,000 square feet. Additionally, 45-space parking lots would be built.

The library expansion plan is a decade in the making. Way back in 2008, voters rejected a plan to expand the library.

This plan is a scaled-down version of the plan that was rejected nine years ago.

The overall cost of the project is close to $15 million – but $6 million of the cost will be offset by grants and fundraising efforts undertaken by library officials.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
