Madison Residents Want This The Most Concerning Academy Site

The results of a recent poll undertaken by the town have just been released.

MADISON, CT — Nearly 60 percent of Madison residents who responded to a recent survey on the future of the Academy School building at 4 School St. would like to see a community center developed there, the New Haven Register reports.

The poll cost between $10,000 and $16,000 and was funded by the town. A minimum of 2,000 people responded. Other contenders included luxury condos, mixed-use development, and other uses. Repairs are estimated to cost $10 million.

What happens next is still very much up in the air.
