Madison's Will Steiner Named Region I All-American

The Fairfield Citizen has reported that Madison's Will Steiner, a senior at Fairfield Prep, where he is a goalie, has been named a Region I All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He also was one of only six goalkeepers in the US to be named a full All American. The Fairfield Citizen says:
Fairfield Prep's all-SCC and all-state goalkeeper now has a new moniker. Will Steiner, who led the Jesuits to their first state championship match, was named a Region I All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced Monday. "It's kind of surreal," Steiner said. "I'm just really excited about it." ... The Villanova University bound goalkeeper was part of a Prep unit which conceded just 10 goals in 24 games.
