Madison Schools Chief Addresses Snowstorm and Potential Impacts
Madison Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice issued a statement this evening about the upcoming storm.

Written by Madison Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice,
Given the volatility of the forecast for tomorrow, I would like to make parents aware of the possibility of an early dismissal. Prior notification of this possibility can give parents an opportunity to arrange for child care in advance.
Typically, a decision to dismiss early is made by 10:00 AM. Notification would go out shortly thereafter. However, the forecast continues to change and there is a possibility of a full closure.

In short, here is the timeline of potential decisions:
- The decision for a closure will be made Wednesday morning by 5:30 AM following a discussion with our consulting meteorologist.
- The decision for an early dismissal will be made anytime Wednesday morning between 5:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
Again, once a decision has been made, notification will go out.
