Madison Schools Piloting Google Classrooms: Report

The program is being tested by 58 teachers this year.

MADISON, CT — A total of 58 teachers in Madison are piloting a Google Classroom this year.

Essentially, a Google Classroom is just what you’d think it would be. Everything is web-based and all of the Google apps are synched in an effort to save teachers time and paper, the Madison Source reports.

This also continues an ongoing trend of utilizing more digital resources for a student’s education.
School officials told the Source that they like Google Classroom because teachers can see which students have completed assignments or provide feedback in real-time. Parents can also receive more information quickly about how their child is performing too.
