Madison Seniors Celebrate New Cafe

The new dining establishment coincides with the 50th anniversary of the senior center.

A new cafe for Madison seniors recently celebrated its grand opening.

According to the Madison Source, the ribbon-cutting ceremony also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the senior center itself.

Director of Senior Services Austin Hall was quoted as saying the cafe was already success. It opened in early August and has served over 160 seniors in its dining room.

Madison Selectman Diane Stadterman, the Source reported, said food security for seniors was identified as a service that could be provided.
