Madison Snow Removal Budget Still in Good Shape

Town leaders had the foresight to increase the budget by $20,000 this year.

Madison officials think they still have money left in their budget for snow removal even after the latest series of snow and ice storm.

This year town leaders had the foresight to increase their snow removal budget by $20,000 to $135,000, reports Jack Kramer of the Madison Source.

First Selectman Fillmore McPherson told Kramer that while the past month has been filled with numerous snowstorms it was pretty mild for the beginning of winter, and is why the town is in good financial shape with snow removal costs.
