Madison Town Website Getting an Overhaul
Town officials are also looking at putting building permits online.

The New Year can be an exciting time for change and Madison’s First Selectman Thomas Banisch has some big plans for the town’s website.
As it is now, the website has useful links, some photos promoting the town and links to departments and jobs in town, but Banisch plans to go way beyond that, the Madison Source reports.
Beginning in January the website will be overhauled, people can watch public meetings online or possibly stream them.

The biggest change is town officials are looking to have building permits be made available online so people don’t have to come into the office, the Source reports.
Other elements of the new website will include a newsletter from Banisch informing residents of the latest news and a new look showcasing the town’s beauty.
