Madison Volunteer Firefighter Suffering from ALS Gives Birth to Healthy Baby Girl
The baby girl was born on election day at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Amanda Bernier has given birth to a healthy baby girl named Arabella Grace on Nov. 4 at Yale New Haven Hospital, WTNH News 8 reports.
Bernier is a volunteer firefighter in Madison who was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of ALS earlier this year. Bernier can no longer walk and has lost over fifty percent of her respiratory capacity.
Since Bernier was diagnosed, Amanda’s Angels has been assisting Amanda Bernier and her husband Chris Bernier raise money as the most assistance they need is financial. A Go Fund Me page has been set up for those wishing to donate.
