Madison's 14th Annual Touch-A-Truck

MADISON, CT — Madison Newcomers Club, an organization for women
new to Madison, is hosting a Touch-A-Truck event in Madison on Sunday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Madison Surf Club, located at 87 Surf Club Road, and it will include a firetruck, ambulance, excavator, dump truck, tow truck, food vendors, performers and more! This is a FREE event, with donations welcome.

We are thrilled to share that this year's event will have even more wonderful features from last year. Our Board has been working incredibly hard to bring an event this year that the community will love - with more trucks than last year, an even larger assortment of food vendors, and some extra special activities provided by local preschools and performers. We know kids and families will have a blast. We are so grateful to our local business sponsors, who have come out with record levels of support and it looks like we will raise more money than ever to support our scholarship fund. We look forward to seeing everyone at what will be an
incredible gathering of fun and community.

Last year’s event was so successful and well-attended that this year we’ve added a shuttle bus for parking convenience that will run throughout the event. The shuttle will pick up passengers at the Madison Commuter Lot off of Exit 61/Rt 79.

The event is sponsored by several generous local businesses who have committed an unprecedented amount this year, including Platinum Sponsors Bluebird Wealth Advisors, Madison Rotary, SXS/Straight Jacket Motorsports. All proceeds will be used to fund the Newcomers Scholarships, which are awarded annually to qualified civic-minded graduates from Daniel Hand High School. Though the event is free to attend, we ask for cash donations at the door with a suggested amount of $5 per person or $20 per family. All proceeds to benefit the scholarship fund. The first 200 guests with a $20 donation receive a free swag bag!
