Madison's Downtown Center Project Receives a Boost
First Selectman Tom Banisch has a proposal to help the plan.

MADISON, CT - First Selectman Tom Banisch is proposing the town create a Downtown Development Authority to help move Madison's Downtown Center Project forward.
Banisch envisions the authority possibly taking on the role of a special services district or a special taxing district, reports the Madison Source.
The proposed authority would be made up of area property owners who would help usher in improvements and other initiatives in the downtown sector.
