Madison's Newest Resident Made Her Debut In An Ambulance: Report
Madison volunteer firefighter Erik called 911, but baby Mastriano couldn't wait to meet mom & dad and was born en route to the hospital.

MADISON, CT — Madison's newest resident is a healthy baby girl, born in a Madison ambulance last week, according to a report.
Due on Dec. 17, the infant girl of parents Shelby and Erik Mastriano made her debut a couple of days early, on Dec. 14, CT Insider reported.
Firefighter dad Erik called 911 and baby Mastriano didn't wait until mom made it to Yale New Haven Hospital, the outlet reported. Madison Emergency Medical Services'ambulance crew members helped bring her into the world.

The social media account Madison 911 Dispatchers posted this to Facebook:
"We would like to take a moment to acknowledge our Madison 911 Dispatchers Lisa Thomas who quickly got the call out to responders and Marybeth Gamerdinger who stayed on the line with the caller to give instructions until responders arrived. Great job!"
