Madison's Rainy and Foggy Weather Forecast
It's shaping up to be a very wet and gloomy start to the month. We'll let you know what to expect as Mother's Day approaches.

According to the National Weather Service it could conceivably rain for the first 8 days of May. And if you enjoy the sun, you may not see it again for awhile.
That is the bad news, the good news is that on several of those days, basically from Wednesday through Sunday, the chances for rain are around 30 to 40 percent.
On top of the frequent showers and rain chances, skies will be mostly cloudy too for the beginning of the month.
Here is the latest 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service, which includes Mother’s Day weekend:
Monday: Some showers and thunderstorms until around 5 p.m. today with fog. Temps will be colder and just into the mid 50s.
Monday night: Rain late and into the early morning hours with more fog and temps holding near 50 degrees.
Tuesday: Rain early, fog possible, temps near 60 degrees. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.
Tuesday night: More showers, fog and temps in the upper 40s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, slight chance for showers and temps near 60.
Wednesday night: Another chance for showers and temps in the upper 40s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy and a less than 50 percent chance of showers. Temps near 60.
Friday: Mostly cloudy and yes a chance for more showers. Temps in the low 60s.
Mother’s Day Weekend:
Slight chance of showers both days but the sun may reappear this weekend too with temps in the mid 60s to near 70 in northern Connecticut.
