Madison's Weekend Forecast Features Rain

If you have outdoor plans this weekend we'll let you know which day is better than the other and how much rain to expect.

It’s definitely an up and down weekend forecast. If you have outdoor plans this weekend, let’s hope it’s on Saturday as it will be a pretty nice spring day and most importantly it will be a dry day.

Then late Saturday evening and basically through Monday we’ll be dealing with rain. We could see up to an inch of rain before it clears out.

Here is a detailed look at this weekends weather via the National Weather Service:

Friday: Cloudy, temps in the mid 50s on the Shoreline and near 60 degrees Inland.

Friday night: Some rain late and into early Saturday A.M. Temps in the low 40s and a tenth to a quarter of an inch is possible.

Saturday: Sunshine, near 60 degrees in southern Connecticut and up to 65 degrees in northern Connecticut.

Saturday night: Slight rain chance late, 44 degrees and cloudy.

Sunday: Rain begins around noon, temps near 50 statewide. Rain continues through the afternoon, evening and overnight.

Monday: Periods of more rain and temps in the mid 50s.
