Middlebury Student From Madison Part Of Social Media Development Team

Nate Beatty of Madison, a physics major at Middlebury College, is part of a four-person, student group developing software to process data from Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a blog from the college reports.

The software, called StraboGIS, will also be an iPhone application, the blog says.

The team is looking for donations to help fund their project and according to the blog, hopes to raise $1,700 by the end of August.
