Cases in Daniel Hand High School and Polson Middle School have sent some into quarantine and remote learning.
MADISON, CT —On Monday, Madison schools reported two more cases of COVID-19, according to schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke.
Cooke said in messages to families that the first positive case, reported Saturday, was in the Polson Middle School community. That person was told to remain home in isolation.
A few hours later, Cooke sent another message. This time, a member of the Daniel Hand High School community was reported to have tested positive. Again, they were told to stay home and isolate. Cooke said that in each school, identified close contacts were told to quarantine and those impacted by a "temporary shift to remote learning" were contacted by a school administrator.
