Multimillion Dollar Fiber Internet Expansion Coming To Madison: What To Know

Thousands of homes and businesses could gain access to multigigabit broadband under new network.

MADISON, CT — GoNetspeed announced plans to expand its fiber-optic internet network to Madison and Guilford through a $4 million investment that the company said will provide service to more than 4,200 households and businesses in the two shoreline communities.

The company said construction is expected to begin this summer, with the first residential and business connections anticipated as early as August.

“Bringing our 100% fiber network to Guilford and Madison is about more than expanding our footprint; it’s about investing in the future of these communities,” said Tom Perrone, chief operating officer of GoNetspeed.
