Mystic Movie Theatre Owners Buy Former Madison Art Cinema: Report
Mystic Luxury Cinema owners bought the pandemic-shuttered beloved downtown theater. It'll reopen as Madison Cinemas on Jan. 14, per report.
MADISON, CT — It was heartbreaking for many when in March 2020 it was announced Madison Art Cinema was shutting its doors because of the pandemic. And when it didn't reopen, the loss was felt.
Now, the owners of the well-known Mystic Luxury Cinemas located in the Olde Mistick Village, has purchased the art film house, per a news report.
With “100 percent brand-new everything,” according to a report from the Shoreline Times, the plan is to reopen the downtown theater as Madison Cinemas on Jan. 14.
