New Coffee Truck Opens in Madison

The owner of the truck is a Madison resident.

If you take the train in Madison, especially on these cold, cold mornings there’s nothing better than a cup of hot coffee to get you perked up for the work day.

And now that has gotten much easier as Madison’s David Short, owner of Coffee Depot Inc. operates a coffee truck at Tuxis Lumber parking lot at 85 Bradley Road, the New Haven Register reports.

The coffee truck is near the Madison Train Station, and town officials are working to allow Short to be stationed at the train station’s parking lot which is something currently not allowed.

Short’s coffee truck also sells bagels and muffins too and operates 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. He’s been in business since mid December.
