New Fred Astaire Opens a State-of-the-Art Dance Studio in Madison, CT

Paulo Jorge and Christian Lange, the proprietors of Fred Astaire Dance Studios, are thrilled to share their exciting news of expanding their new ballroom dance studio on the Connecticut shoreline. These dedicated business partners successfully operates two other dance studios in Connecticut for the past twelve years, enriching the lives of students in Old Saybrook, Southbury, and the surrounding communities through the transformative power of dance – both physically and emotionally.
They are delighted to announce the opening of their brand-new ballroom dance studio in Madison, Connecticut, conveniently located at the Marketplace of Madison, 1347 Boston Post Road, on the entire second floor above Madison Eye Care, Shoreline Organic Hair Salon, Edible Arrangements, Lacrosse Unlimited, and the Cohen's Bagel Company. This studio is part of the esteemed American & International franchise bearing the name of the legendary actor and dancer, Fred Astaire.
Spanning 6,000 square feet, the facility boasts 3,100 square feet of dance floor space. The new studio features two exceptional dance floors: one generously-sized competition floor with a sophisticated sprung system designed to absorb shock and provide the ideal level of bounce and resilience for superior dance performance. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos spatial sound system. The second floor is a more intimate space designed for wedding dance instruction and children's dance classes.
The interior of the studio is styled with Hollywood glamour to exude the elegance of ballroom dancing. Their in-house Dance Store offers a wide range of dancewear, from competitive and social dance attire to custom-designed dresses in an array of exquisite colors and styles, as well as comfortable practice wear and high-quality shoes for ladies, men, and children, all meeting American and European standards.
The studio covers American Smooth, American Rhythm, and international Ballroom and Latin dance styles. Their personalized teaching methods set the highest standard of excellence in dance instruction, encompassing various forms of social and performance dancing, including Salsa, Bachata, Swing, Argentine Tango, Samba, Foxtrot, and Country Western, among others. Their instructors have undergone rigorous training and are certified to ensure that learning to dance is enjoyable, friendly, and accessible.
Fred Astaire Dance Studios Madison welcomes both individuals and couples of all ages and abilities, providing private and group dance lessons as well as practice dance parties. They are open from 12:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 11:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
