New Location Reportedly Found for Madison Skate Park
The park had been located behind the Madison Arts Barn until it was closed on Oct. 5.

MADISON, CT — The Surf Club in Madison will be the new home for the recently dismantled skate park, town officials have decided.
The park, which was behind the Madison Arts Barn, was closed on Oct. 5 to make room for the new emergency communications tower. The Board of Selectmen last week approved nearly $50,000 to re-establish the skate park at the Surf Club on Surf Club Road, reports the Madison Source.
The skate park will be constructed near the bocce courts and horseshoe pits in what was a grass parking area.
