New Madison Library Expansion Group Selects Interim Chair: Report
The project, which will more than double the facility's current square footage to 37,000 square feet.

MADISON, CT — Madison's newly formed Ad-Hoc Library Expansion Building Committee has already selected an interim chair and begun reviewing the architectural contract for renovations to the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library, reports The Source.
Henry Griggs, Vice President of the Library Board of Trustees, was named interim chair of the seven-member committee.
The project, which will more than double the facility's current square footage to 37,000 square feet with other improvements, is expected to cost about $15 million. Nearly $5 million of that will be paid for through grants.
