New Restaurant Opening In Downtown Madison

The owners already operate a popular restaurant in Guilford.

MADISON, CT – The owners of a popular Guilford restaurant will be opening up a new restaurant in downtown Madison later this summer

The owners of South Lane Bistro on Whitfield Street in Guilford will be opening Sea House next to the Madison Cinemas smack in downtown Madison, at 765 Boston Post Road, the location of the old Madison Coffee Shop.

“Sea House will feature a refined yet relaxing environment, a comfortable gathering place,” said Ariel Miller, Sea House co-owner.

“Much like a shoreline homestead, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options,” Miller said.

She said the restaurant will offer local cuisine – seafood, chicken, burgers, steaks, composed salads and smaller dish.

Miller said Sea House will also feature a full bar.

Sea House is the second restaurant from an ownership group that includes local residents Miller, Walter Miller, Rob Celentano and Grant Copeland.

South Lane Bistro in Guilford opened in May 2014 and was recently named by readers of CTNOW as Best Restaurant in Guilford.

Ariel Miller added: “Because of its location and approachable menu, Sea House will be a nice destination to combine with a movie, a day at Hammonasset Beach or a gathering with friends.”
