With No New Coronavirus Cases, Town Looking At Phase 3 Reopening
First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons thanked residents for following CDC and state guidelines for gatherings, mask-wearing and social distancing.

MADISON, CT — With no new or active cases in the town, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons talks about how Phase 3 reopening may look in Madison.
In her weekly address, she thanked residents for following Centers For Disease Control and Prevention mitigation measures including guidelines for social gatherings, social distancing and mask wearing: "You are making a difference in our community. Let’s stay the course."
Lyons said that as Gov. Ned Lamont recently announced the state would be moving partially into Phase 3 of its reopening plan starting Oct. 8, "the town is evaluating what the Phase 3 re-opening measures will mean for our operations and events."
