Jim worked primarily in the autobody repair business, including owning and operating Ward’s Autobody in Madison, CT. In addition to cars, he was also fond of boating. Upon retirement, he purchased a trawler, the Ashling, and he and Lucille completed the trip of a lifetime through the east coast inland waterways. They eventually settled on the west coast of Florida, where he established an upholstery and canvas business.
