Obituary: Judith A. Rupprecht, 71, of Madison

She owned her own business, "Welcome Home Quilts for Vietnam Vets," and was extremely dedicated to honoring those who served.

Judith A. Rupprecht of Madison, CT, Virginia and Winchester, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday May 2, 2016.

Judith was predeceased by her husband, Glenn earlier this year. Daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Mascle) Crowley. Loving mother of Angela MacCallum, Timothy Fisher, Scott Fisher and Tony Rizzo. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Crowley during his military service in Vietnam. Grandmother of Kaitlyn, Brenna and Liam MacCallum and Wesson and Tyrion Fisher.

Judith was an artist and graduated from Lesley College in 1988. She had a passion for quilting, and spent countless hours making unique quilts for war veterans, especially those who served in Vietnam. She owned her own business, “Welcome Home Quilts for Vietnam Vets,” and was extremely dedicated to honoring those who bravely served our country.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 6 at 10 am at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Killingworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
