Our Lady of Mercy School Searches for New Location
The Madison-based Catholic school is run by St. George and St. Margaret churches.

MADISON, CT - Our Lady of Mercy School is losing its Neck Road location after the 2017-18 school year, so the school has begun searching for a new facility in the area.
Officials of the Catholic school acknowledge that the time frame to find, renovate and move into a new location is tight but it can be done.
“Our leadership teams are confident we can find a solution in the time period allowed, but it will require a robust effort with a multi-track approach where we investigate several options concurrently,” school committee member Paul Bauer told The Madison Source. “We cannot simply pursue a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C in order. They all must be investigated concurrently.”

The building where the school is located is owned by The Sisters of Mercy, which is terminating the lease in two-and-a-half years. Some parents are considering mounting an effort to try to convince The Sisters of Mercy to reconsider the lease termination.
