In Past Week, 1 New Coronavirus Death, 2 New Cases
Unlike the majority of deaths and cases, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said the recent death and the new cases are not in nursing homes.

MADISON, CT — First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said Wednesday that she was "disheartened to learn" that in the last week, Madison had one new COVID-19-related fatality and there were three new cases. Lyons said "none of which were associated with a skilled nursing facility."
She said the new cases and death are a "reminder that we are still in a state of public health emergency and all vulnerable to contracting the virus. Please continue to exercise caution and follow state directives when possible on social distancing and mask wearing, especially seniors."
