Prescription Discount Card Brings Big Savings for Madison Residents
The free program helps lower prescription drug costs for Connecticut residents.

Madison officials say residents have saved more than $100,000 by using the Town of Madison Prescription Discount Card, Jack Kramer reports from The Source.
Administered by ProAct Inc., the prescription discount card is a free program that offers discount savings on the purchase of prescription drugs. The program places no burden on the Town of Madison or the taxpayers.
According to the paper, the card can be used at any local CVS or Stop and Shop. First Selectman Fillmore McPherson told The Source that the discount card can also be used for pet medications.
