Reese Witherspoon Bringing Book Tour To Madison
The Academy Award winning actress is bringing her book tour to Connecticut and will be in Madison tonight.

MADISON, CT — Reese Witherspoon is bringing her book tour to Connecticut, and will be in Madison Tuesday night. The tour will be promoting the Academy Award winning actress' debut book, "Whiskey in a Teacup."
Witherspoon will bring her new book to the First Congregational Church of Madison on Meetinghouse Lane at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $55, each of which includes a copy of the book. The event is presented by RJ Julia Booksellers.
During the event, Witherspoon will "share personal stories about what growing up in the South taught her about life, love and work," according to the booksellers website. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to learn how she entertains, decorates her home and makes the holidays special for her family.

Witherspoon was originally scheduled to be at the Shubert Theater in New Haven on Tuesday, however the venue was changed. She will be joined in conversation by author and comedian Ali Wentworth.

Witherspoon has had a number of notable roles over the years, including that of June Carter in "Walk the Line," for which she won an Academy Award in 2006. She also played the main character Elle Woods in the popular comedy "Legally Blonde," and appeared in crowd-pleasers "Pleasantville" and the animated "Sing."
