This month features spiritual books exploring the question “What happens when we pass?” The first two books on this list have done more to shape my worldview than any other book I’ve ever read.

Come back next month for a lighter line up when I will explore five humorous authors.

1. What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson What Dreams May Come begins with a knock on the door of someone.  Chris Neilson has passed and he has been communicating with a medium.  It is said medium who knocks on Chris’s brother’s door and insists on giving him the notes from said conversations.

2. Journey of Souls by Michael Newton Told in interview style this is various case studies of Newton’s patients who under hypnosis reveal where they were before.

3. Tunnel Vision by Gary Braver A biker in Boston is struck by a car. In a coma for some time he wakes reciting the lord’s prayer in Aramaic.

4. Old Souls by Tom Shroder The author follows a UVA professor to India where they find children who can recount their past lives. An incredible book.5. Soul Survivor: The Reincarnation of a World War Two Fighter Pilot by Bruce Leininger James Leininger is a two-year-old child who wakes up almost every night crying out, plane on fire, plane on fire. Why?
