MADISON, CT — At the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday, February 10th, the Board approved a revised Charge for the Solid Waste Disposal Committee.

This Committee, established many years ago, seats members from the Town of Madison and the Town of Guilford to provide guidance on the oversight of operations at the Transfer Station in Guilford. Both Towns have undertaken a commitment to fill the Committee vacancies and to empower the Committee to guide much needed capital projects. With this in mind, the Town is reaching out to residents to solicit members for the Solid Waste Disposal Committee to serve for a period of three years.

Interested residents should complete the Board & Commission Application. For any questions, please call 203-245-5602.
