Alex Taubes held his campaign kickoff party on Sunday, April 27th, at his family’s house in Madison. Over 100 people were in attendance, including New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, State Senator Ed Meyer, State Senator Candidate Ted Kennedy Jr, State Representative Nominee Sean Scanlon (from Guilford), Former CT Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz, Madison Town Selectman (and woman) Al Goldberg and Joan Walker. As well as interns from DHHS.
The kickoff party held at his parents home in Madison, featured a performance by the house band from the local School of Rock. Alex Taubes is a Madison native,DHHS graduate and formally in his 2nd year at Yale Law School. He is running for State Representative in the 101st district covering Madison and Durham. Alex is the endorsed candidate of the Madison democratic committee, and expected to receive the endorsement of the Durham democratic committee later this month.
His nominating convention will be on May 20th at the Memorial Town Hall here in Madison at 6:30PM. Open to the public.
