Officials say some donations are still needed for some planned upgrades.

Madison, CT - It began eight years ago and a total of $3.1 million has been raised by numerous groups and residents thus far to help develop a first class high school football facility at the Surf Club, the Madison Source reports.

The project is nearing it's end, possibly in December but some donations are still needed.

Work now is focused on adding two field houses which will include bathrooms, concessions, storage, and more, the Source reports.
