Summer Concert Schedule for Madison Beach and Recreation
Concert Season has begun at Madison Beach and Recreation! Join us for family friendly concerts on the Town Green and at the Surf Club!
Madison Beach and Recreation's Summer Concert Series has begun! We are hosting family friendly concerts on the Town Green and at the Surf Club this summer. All concerts are free and appropriate for all ages. Bring a chair and your family and friends. The next concert is on Friday night on the Surf Clubs deck. The Kenn Morr Band will be playing from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. "Alternative Folk/Rock with groovin' rhythms, unique instrumentation, poetic lyrics and sweet melodies. Critics say the music stays with you upon first-listening. Driven by a trademark (bass) lead vocals (ala Mark Knopfler or Leonard Cohen), harmonies and a hot band. Kenn's CDs have been played on radio stations throughout US and Europe".
On Sunday, July 17th, River Mud returns to the green. A huge favorite last year, River Mud is made up of 4 veteran musicians. Bob Carlson on lead vocals, Chris Soricelli on guitar, Bryan Boemmels behind the drums and Jason Deren on bass, keyboards and background vocals. The band plays a diverse range of high-energy rock that will keep you dancing and singing along to your favorite songs from the 70's to the early 2000's. Artists covered include Journey, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Billy Idol, Foo Fighters, P
earl Jam and many others.
