The Temple Beth Tikvah Candidates' Forum

This Sunday, September 21, at 3:00pm, come join the Temple Beth Tikvah community as it opens its doors to help educate the electorate about the candidates for election.

The program will consist of two panels. One panel will feature the four candidates for the Connecticut General Assembly in the 101st District (Madison, Durham) and the 98th District (Branford, Guilford). Those candidates are incumbent Noreen Kokoruda and challenger Alex Taubes in the 101st District race and opponents Sean Scanlon and Cindy Cartier in the 98th District race to replace retiring Representative Pat Widlitz (a longtime Temple member).

The other panel will consist of the opponents running to fill the seat of retiring State Senator Ed Meyer, in the 12th State Senate District, which includes the towns of Branford, North Branford, Guilford, Madison, Durham and Killingworth. The candidates in this panel will be Bruce Wilson of Madison and Ted Kennedy, Jr. of Branford.
