MADISON, CT — Reason 456,789 why cats are amazing.


Nearly four months after Thomas the cat went missing on Nutmeg Lane on June 2, he reappeared after a months-long summer sojourn only he can tell about.

In a Facebook post, Madison Animal Control told folks that he showed up at a house a "couple miles away, begging to go inside."

The person held on to Thomas and then went in search of the missing cat post, connected with Animal Control and Thomas was positively identified by owner.
