MADISON, CT - Two-time Republican incumbent Tom Banisch lost his bid for a third term in Election Day, as Democrat Peggy Lyons beat him in a close race.
On social media, here is what Banisch had to say about his lost:
“Many thanks to all of my supporters and friends for a well fought race. Unfortunately, I fell short by about 300 votes and extend best wishes to Peggy Lyons as Madison's new First Selectman.
