TV Cameras Roll In Madison As Olympics Fever Intensifies

MADISON, CT — The cameras were rolling in Madison today as NBC Connecticut came to town to interview excited residents about the Olympics. The reason for the excitement is because three athletes from Madison will be competing in the upcoming Olympics.

NBC Connecticut's Kate Rayner said, "I’m in MADISON where there is so much excitement for NBC Olympics!! There are THREE athletes from Madison going to Pyeongchang!!" (Watch her video below).

Nearly 240 American participants from 16 sports will descend upon PyeongChang, South Korea next month to represent the United States in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, and three have strong ties to Madison. The Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, Feb. 9. The Closing Ceremony takes place at 8 a.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, Feb. 25.
