Update: Madison Boy's Letter to Santa Goes Viral

Not only will the boy's grandfather get Christmas off, but he will be getting that Xbox 360 for Christmas as well.

A Madison boy’s letter to Santa Claus has gone viral and in an amazing way.

The little boy, Julian, 9, wrote a letter to Santa asking him to contact his grandfather’s boss, general manager John Mathers at the Madison Beach Hotel asking him to give his grandfather Christmas Day off, WTNH News 8 reports.

He wrote Santa a handwritten note, which said “my greatest wish is that you talk to my grandfather’s boss Mr. John Mathers and ask him if he could give my grandfather Christmas day off,” WFSB 3 TV reports.

Mathers, who was so inspired by the boy’s note, sent a memo to Leo Otero, telling him to take Christmas off so he could spend it with his grandchildren.

Part of Mathers’ memo read, “(Santa) was concerned that you were planning to work on Christmas Day. Your grandchildren are quite upset about this! I think it would be best if you planned to take the day off and spend it with your family. Work can wait until after Christmas.”

At the end of the letter Julian had one more request for Santa, and said, “If you have time and think I earned it, I would also love a Xbox 360. Thanks Santa.”

Well it appears Julian will not only be seeing his grandfather on Christmas, but he’ll be receiving that Xbox 360 as well. A WFSB 3 viewer from Germany saw the story and said she will buy the Xbox for Julian.

What an amazing story!
