Vista Life Innovations 2022 Graduation Ceremony

Vista Life Innovations, a nationally accredited private school for individuals with neurological disabilities, held its 2022 Graduation Ceremony this past Friday at The Kate in Old Saybrook. This year’s graduating class included George Barnett, Henry Fischer, Steven Miller, Elizabeth Diparti, Chris McDonald, and Jenn Pawlich. Over 200 friends, family, and community members gathered in celebration of the graduating Class of 2022.

The moving keynote address was given by, Robert Friend, a twenty-two-year Rotarian and the Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 7980 for the past seven years. In addition to his involvement with Rotary, Robert has played an essential role in forming Vista’s Rotaract Club. During his address, he graciously recognized the graduates for "impacting each and every one of us in the community in ways that are so profound."

The Vista Graduation Ceremony included special guests: State Sen. Norm Needleman, State Sen. Heather Somers, State Rep. Devin Carney, State Rep. Christine Goupil, State Rep. John-Michael Parker, Guilford First Selectman Matt Hoey, Old Saybrook First Selectman Carl Fortuna, and Westbrook First Selectman John Hall. It was an enlightening ceremony that started at 1 p.m. followed by a casual reception on-site. All attendees were excited to congratulate Vista’s Class of 2022 on their many accomplishments.
