Want To Skype The Grand Kids? Free Tech Help At Senior Center

Navigating the digital world can be a challenge, but there's help.

MADISON, CT — It's not just about email. Folks of a certain age, who were born around the advent of TV when the tube wasn't 'You,' need to embrace technology to not only send and receive mail, but to live a fuller life.

Using tablets and smartphones with apps and the internet, they can track finances, and medications, manage their healthcare, learn a new language, Skype with the grand kids, listen to music, store and explore photos.

The Madison Senior Center provides free technology help for seniors the last Monday of every month. Tech Support for Seniors is from 4 to 5 p.m., the last Monday of the month with the next session Monday, Feb. 24 at the Madison Senior Center at 29 Bradley Road.
