The scavenger hunt is a community-wide activity in which everyone - kids, parents, and Waldo-lovers of all ages - is invited to participate! Since July 1st, Waldo-spotters have set off on a hunt to find our elusive guy hidden in twenty-five business establishments in Madison, CT.

The goal is to find 16 of the 25 Waldos. Collect a card from each business in which you find him, and then return all 16 to RJ Julia's to receive an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing - a 6 book hardcover set! 10 Waldo 1st prizes, special award prizes, and prizes from the Madison Flower Shop, Poppies, and Ciao Bella will be awarded at the Grand Celebration on 7/31!
Tuesday, July 31
Waldo spotters are invited to a Grand Celebration held at RJ Julia's from 4-6pm. Wear your favorite red & white striped shirt, and don't forget your glasses! Be sure to turn in your "I found Waldo" cards to be entered to win fabulous prizes. The real Waldo will be here to join in the fun.

Sunday, July 22- RJ Julia Dog Days!
Stop by the store between 11am and 1pm, and meet Waldo, an adorable American Bulldog, looking for his forever home! Read all about him and other animals in need of homes at the Friends of the North Haven Animal Shelter website.
The REAL Waldo in Madison- Someday VERY soon, the REAL Waldo will be touring the shops of Madison! He will be visiting all 25 merchants to say hello! Want to spot him? Watch our Facebook page for hints on where he will be when!

RJ Julia's Waldo has been diving into a new book on a daily basis- keep a tally of what books he is "reading" throughout the month of July, then join us for the party on 7/31. Whoever can name the most books that our Waldo has read will win a $25.00 RJ Julia gift card! * If you are just starting your Waldo search, there is plenty of time to catch up, so, what are you waiting for?
